Be your savior

Walking on streets after 7 p.m. has become a headache for women now-a-days.Street commentators,anti-socials and a lot of pieces can attack, harass or commit anything shameful. Considering the recent rape cases of India and after giving a deep thought I concluded few stuffs.

Let's start from Part 'A'.
> Indian law has become more strict towards rapists.
> People has become conscious regarding female security.
> Social networking has become media of social awareness.
> Rapists are getting awarded much faster then previous times.
> Media is at it's best against rape and murder.
> High profile celebs has started NGOs's.
> Rape victim is called as Survivor today.

Nice.Very nice.

Now,what is Part 'B'?

> No matter how hard law has become.Rape cases are increasing.
> Evening teasers are also one of common people. They are not from Mars or Jupiter.
> Social networking is spreading anger rather than solution with it.
> There is no death penalty for rape. It's limited to murder only.
> Reputed media channels are busy in covering rape stories within an hour and then to continue with its as         usual filmy and anti-socialistic issues.
> No matter how hard celebs are trying to put their finger into sensitive issue. They end up with only publicity.
> You call her victim or survivor...in no way you can heal her wound.

Are you angry on me for being diplomatic?Ohh!Don't be.I have my answers.Well,in addition to candle light morchaas,Protest against rapists, spreading awareness messages...
>How about making 'Martial Arts' mandatory in education system? It will maintain fitness, peace mind and talent at a time.More hopefully, some of the students may grab few more medals from world games in Martial Arts for our country.
>How about co-education?Instead of putting an invisible barrier between two gender and accelerating their curiosity,we can simply allow them to mingle. There would be no more excitement.
>How about appointing a Psychiatrist or what you call Councilor to take one hour class of this school pupil from early ages?So that Girls can protect themselves and boys can get self-disciplined regarding their female companions.
>How about let girls save themselves rather asking for help?

  1. Yeah I agree with you. If the govt punishes the victims just like in arabian countries people would be afraid to do any such crime. Being a democratic country, we have given the onus of everything to the govt and its govt duty to take necessary action. But teaching martial arts in school instead of PT would surely help the girls. atleast would give her a chance to fight.

    1. Exactly!Whatever steps will be taken comes secondary.1st thing is how to tackle on the spot.Off-spot solutions can't heal the actual pain. And thank you @Ran.Both for supporting and replying. :)

  2. True..!! but discussing n sharing issues on social media or Tele-media is jst like standing outside the boundary wall/gate and barking like dogs. we can't change the system nobody can change anything... rather we can develop or we can say modify a matter/system. Its time to Grow Up and instead of waiting for change , its time to enter in to the system and develop our system.. As miss Sagarika have suggested good initiatives which can help in controlling the issues today the women is facing... We need to design our phycology then only these issues will have some brakes on them. We are watching a movie or song where the Hero is approaching the Heroien by singing a song not by raping the Heroien. These are all "DURBAL MANSIKATA" sick phsycology dats it from which we have to recover.

  3. I'm not really sure what's been going on in India, but relating it to any other country...it's sad when a woman gets raped. Women need to take precautions when they are out at night. Whether they are just going to their car, getting off work, or out partying with friends. Male predators are everywhere, during the day and at night. So, women just need to protect themselves all the time. Instating a martial arts class for women at school would be good, but women need to take it seriously. There are girly girls that just want to be popular and be part of the in crowd. Other women either feel like they can protect themselves without the class, while others will take the class. If it becomes a mandatory class, then it would help a little to get these women to enjoy it and eventually use it. Having both genders attend the same classes would be better because it would lessen men's curiosity or absence of a woman in their life. Although, rape will happen no matter what changes or doesn't change. Rape cases could increase or decrease. If women are acting or dressing provocatively, then they're really asking for it. That just adds more reason for a man to rape them. At the same time, men need to be unstable in their mind to rape a woman. They wouldn't have respect for women because they too were sexually abused at some point in their life, they weren't loved by their parents or maybe a previous girlfriend riled them up enough to hate women and rape them. It goes both ways really.
